Mad Bastard is an ambient server anomaly. He is a large Deathclaw, and his nature from interactions describes him as passive and cowardly. However, in some instances, it has been reported that Mad Bastard has initially appeared hostile and killed players on their first encounter.
He is most likely to be seen in the southwest portion of the map (ex. NCRCF), however he can travel across the map - reasons for this are not yet understood.
